Elintree Team Building Trip: Exploring the Beauty of Suzhou and Hangzhou

From June 12 to June 16, 2025, Elintree’s management team embarked on a team-building retreat to Suzhou and Hangzhou, designed to enrich cultural knowledge, release work stress, and strengthen team cohesion.

🏛️ Suzhou – A Glimpse of Classical Elegance

In Suzhou, our team toured the Humble Administrator’s Garden, the city’s largest classical garden spanning 5.2 hectares and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. The Eastern, Central, and Western sections provided a peaceful setting for group reflection and creative discussions inspired by Ming-dynasty architecture and traditional water landscaping.

🚣 Hangzhou – Serenity at West Lake

In Hangzhou, participants experienced the tranquil beauty of West Lake—walking or boating along serene causeways like Su Causeway and viewing iconic scenes like the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. A highlight was ascending Leifeng Pagoda, the five-story, octagonal tower rebuilt in 2002, offering panoramic vistas of the lake and insight into legend and history. Moments spent watching the sunset glow over the pagoda fostered camaraderie among the team.

🍽️ Cultural Exploration & Local Cuisine

Meals were shared in traditional teahouses and local eateries, where participants savored Jiangnan specialties such as Dongpo pork and sweet-and-salty river delicacies. This immersive dining experience encouraged informal exchanges and laid the groundwork for stronger working relationships.

Activities like guided garden tours, boat cruises, and shared meals provided a relaxed yet purposeful environment to enhance trust, communication, and leadership among management members. The blend of cultural immersion and leisure created natural opportunities for creative brainstorming and strategic dialogue.

The retreat offered more than sightseeing—it allowed participants to unwind, recalibrate, and return to work recharged and unified. The calm beauty of Jiangnan’s landscapes—gardens, canals, and lakes—served as a tranquil backdrop for enhancing team morale.
